The Quiz will be open for participation by school students studying in Classes 10, 11 and 12th, in the academic year 2019-2020-2021.

Each contestant shall submit requisite proof, either at the time of Registration (defined herein below) or at any other stage of the Quiz, as may be deemed appropriate by the Company, regarding his / her age and his / her enrollment in a recognized school located in India, along with other necessary and requisite documents in support thereof. For the sake of clarity, any contestant not meeting the above stated criteria and/or not submitting the requisite proof/information, shall be disqualified from participating in the Quiz.

The interested students (here-in-after referred to as the “contestants”), who meet the aforesaid eligibility criteria, need to register at quiz.entrancezone.com/ramayana-quiz (here-in-after referred to as the ‘Quiz Landing Page’).

The ‘Quiz Landing Page’ has an on-line ‘entry form’, which needs to be completely filled up and pay the registration fees by the contestant and submitted under parental supervision or by the parent of the contestant.

There is nominal fees or registration charge for participating in the quiz contest.

2.

Registration by filling the entry form on-line along with parental consent shall be deemed as unconditional and unqualified acceptance of these ‘Terms and Conditions’. However, it is clarified here, that registration does not guarantee the confirmed participation of any contestant for the Quiz. The Company may, in its sole discretion, either select or reject any entry for participation in the Quiz.

If at any time during the Quiz, the details furnished by the contestant in the entry form are found to be incorrect or incomplete, the Company shall have the right to disqualify such contestant, without any liability, whatsoever.

4.

The Company shall have no responsibility to provide any equipment, connectivity including broadband connectivity to enable the contestant to participate in the Quiz. All such expenses, charges and costs thereto shall be borne by the parent of the contestant.

5.

The Company shall upload nineteen (19) modules on the ILP app interalia containing reference material to enable the contestants to prepare for the on-line quiz/written test. The modules will be provided free of cost and the Company may in its sole discretion increase or decrease the number of the modules. For sake of clarity, the format of the practice tests provided in these modules may or may not match the format adopted for the on-line and / or off-line quizzes.

The Company shall have, at all times, the unfettered right to add, alter or modify the ‘Terms and Conditions’ hereto including inter-alia the mode of participation, the format of the on-line or off-line quiz or the written test etc. without any prior notice and/or intimation to the contestants.

7.

The Company shall also have the right to withdraw the “India Biggest Online Quiz League” at any time prior to the start of the Quiz or thereafter, in its sole discretion, without incurring any liability whatsoever to any contestant who might have participated in the Quiz prior to such withdrawal.

8.

The participation in the Quiz does not imply or entitle any contestant to claim any prize, reward or any other consideration, monetary or otherwise.

9.

The Company may award the winners of the Final Round by way of Scholarship or monetary reward. The value of the Scholarship and the monetary reward shall be determined by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion. Any implication under the extant tax laws shall be the discharged by the parent of the contestant.

10.

The Company may publicize the Quiz and may also use the contestant’s photograph, video of the contestant or the contestant’s comments etc. recorded during or after the Quiz, for advertisement and promotional purposes, in any media in India or otherwise. Participation in the contest by completing the registration formalities and shall be deemed as permission by the parent of the contestant, without any compensation, for the aforesaid purpose. It is further understood that all the ‘Intellectual Property’ in any such image, video, voice recording etc., shall vest solely with the Company and shall be available with the Company for exploitation throughout the world for perpetuity.

The Company may request the winner of the Quiz and / or the other contestants to participate in any on-line or personal interactive session or promotional activity or campaign relating to the ‘India Biggest Online Quiz League’. The winner and / or the other finalists shall at no point of time refuse or disagree to participate in any such activities and shall endeavor to cooperate with the Company in this respect.

12.

The contestant shall have no claim or demand against the Company if the contestant is unable to participate in the contest for any reason, whatsoever, including without limitation, inability to travel for the Zonal Semi Final or the Final Rounds, cancellation and or delay of air flights, inability to obtain leave of absence from the school etc.

13.

The Company shall not be liable for any interruption/cancellation of the Zonal/Semi-final/Final Rounds of the quiz contest, for any reason beyond their control.

14.

Taking part in the Quiz shall be deemed acceptance by the parent of the contestant to receive promotional messages from the Company or any third party authorized by the Company.

15.

The Company shall have the sole discretion to prepare the questions for the on-line quizzes and the written test. No claim pertaining to the appropriateness or otherwise of the quiz for the contestants, the correctness of any question or answer thereto shall be entertained by the Company. The Company’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

16.

The Company is empowered and entitled to take a decision on any matter or circumstance not specifically or expressly covered by these ‘Terms and Conditions’.

17.

The Company shall in no manner whatsoever be responsible and / or shall not be held liable for any physical or bodily injury or trauma caused to the contestant in relation to travel or stay at the location of the Zonal or Final Round.

18.

Any dispute or claim arising under and pursuant to the India Biggest Online Quiz League shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdictions of the Courts in New Delhi / Delhi.
